The Lone Peak Public Safety District - Police Department, formerly known as The Highland/Alpine Police Department, is currently accepting applications for the position of Police Officer. The Department has one (1) immediate opening.
Starting salary level for full time positions is $18.85/hour ($39,208 Annual) and includes an extensive and generous comprehensive benefits package.
The Department is looking for applicants who are committed to community oriented policing and are career minded in the field of law enforcement.
Applicants must be Utah P.O.S.T. certified /certifiable or be currently attending the Utah P.O.S.T. Law Enforcement Officer block and possess a valid Utah State Drivers License, or the ability to obtain one.
The testing process will consist of written and oral examinations, drug testing, extensive background investigation, medical examination, as well as a psychological evaluation.
Officers will be expected to perform a variety of tasks using law enforcement procedures to protect and maintain the well being of the communities of Highland and Alpine.
