Chief of Police Borough of Birdsboro, PA The Borough of Birdsboro (pop. 5,106; 1.2 sq. mile) is looking for a dynamic, forward-thinking law enforcement leader to serve as Chief of Police. This is your opportunity to lead a professional team including one sergeant, five patrol officers, and one administrative assistant. Were seeking a highly motivated, experienced, and community-focused individual who can lead with integrity and vision, manage a $1.4 million departmental budget, perform patrol duties and respond to calls for service, serve as the public face of the department to the community and elected officials Minimum Requirements: At least 10 years of full-time police experience, at least 5 years in a supervisory or management role, current or eligible for PA Municipal Police Officers Education and Training Certification (MPOTC), valid or obtainable PA Drivers License, strong computer skills; experience with CODY RMS, experience with budgets, grant writing, and civil service regulations Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree (strongly preferred), Masters coursework or command-level training (e.g. FBI National Academy, Northwestern, etc.) Compensation: Salary range: $110,000 $130,000, commensurate with experience.
