POLICE OFFICER HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP Haverford Township Civil Service will conduct an examination to establish an eligibility list for new police officers on Saturday, September 13, 2025. Starting salary is $78,696. Applicants without Act 120 will be classified as Cadets with a starting salary of $40,000 until successful completion of the Police Academy. Minimum age 21; high school diploma or equivalent and a valid drivers license is required. Applications are available at the Township Administration Building, 1014 Darby Road or Police Department 1010 Darby Road, Havertown, PA 19083, M-F 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. or download at Havtwp.org/HTPD_Recruitment.html.
