Minimum Qualification Requirements
Graduation from a standard senior high school or the successful completion of the General Educational Development (GED) test, as in accordance with the APOSTC Administrative Code, and preferably some corrections or law enforcement experience; or a combination of education and experience equivalent to these requirements.
Special Requirement
Must possess a valid driver's license from state of residence. Must be at least 21 years of age - no maximum age limit. May be required to have successfully completed the required minimum standards training necessary for recognition as a sworn law enforcement officer.
