Police Officer

The Extra-Duty Police Officer provides security for assigned areas of organization. Officers provide the mechanism for arrest beyond the citizen's arrest powers of the Security Staff. Officers provide a liaison between our facility and local law enforcement.

1. Customer Service
2. Maintains order within the ECU or Lake After Hours with patients, staff, and visitors.
3. Emergency Response
4. Makes appropriate decisions in an emergency situation; able to communicate effectively and use basic communication equipment.
5. Patrol and Safety
6. Observes patients that demonstrate hostile tendencies towards themselves or others.
7. Other Duties as Assigned
8. Performs other duties as assigned or requested.
QUALIFICATIONS

• POST (Police Officer Standards Training)
