The Role

This position provides a vital service to our community by enforcing city and state laws governing animal care, parking regulations, water violations, and other code violations. This is a non-sworn position focused on public service and maintaining the quality of life in Russell.

Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age or older High school diploma or G.E.D.

Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid Kansas Class C driver's license.

Experience is preferred but not requiredwe are happy to train the right person.

Must pass a pre-employment background check, drug screening, and job placement assessment.

Note: There are no residency requirements for this position, subject to response times as administratively determined.
