Police Officer Job Type: Full Time Las Cruces, NM New Mexico State University Salary: $ 23.58 Closing date: July 15 2026 Requirements: Required Education:Associate's degree (any field).; Required Experience:No previous work experience required.; Equivalency:2 years' experience as a certified PO; or 2 years' experience allowing for a combination of education (15 related credits equivalent to 6 months experience), and/or military service (honorably discharged), and/or certified PO experience. Preferred Requirements: Lateral Commissioned Officer with a minimum of two years of commissioned experience in law enforcement.
