About Us:
The Longwood Police Department is comprised of 50 law enforcement officers and support staff providing 24-hour coverage to the City's residents, the business community, and visitors. The police department utilizes Uniform Road Patrol, Traffic Enforcement, Criminal Investigations, Community Relations, K-9, and School Resource Programs.
Applicants Must:
- Be a United States Citizen
- Be at least 19 years of age
- Have a High School Diploma or GED
- Pass a pre-employment screening
- Maintain a valid Florida Driver's License
- Meet minimum qualifications listed in the Police Officer job description
