Review incident reports for accuracy and compliance with standard operating procedures.
Coordinate emergency responses with internal and external agencies to maintain public safety.
Monitor communication systems to provide real-time support to patrol units.
Train new officers on law enforcement procedures to enhance team performance.
Direct police operations to ensure timely response to emergencies across the installation.

This position require the incumbent to possess or obtain and maintain a valid state Driver's License in one of the 50 U.S. states or possessions to operate vehicles.
One year probationary period required.
Must undergo and pass periodic medical examinations (physical, hearing, vision, emotional and mental stability, etc.).
Due to the nature of this position, employees are required to work both planned and unscheduled overtime.
This position is covered by the Civilian Drug Testing Program. Incumbent is required to sign a DA Form 5019-R, Condition of Employment for certain civilian positions identified as critical under the Drug Abuse Testing Program.
This position is covered by the 1996 Lautenberg Amendment to the Gun Control Act of 1968. Position does not require employee to carry a weapon; however, must have access to Arms Room.
Position is Mission Essential.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance.
Successfully graduated from the United States Army Civilian Police Academy or graduate within a one year of hire date, or next available, unless incumbent has an approved waiver/exemption from the Office of the Provost Marshal General.
This position requires shift work to provide coverage on evenings, weekends, holidays, or special situations. Employee shifts are rotated on a regularly scheduled basis.
This position has a requirement to lift up to 50 lbs. in the regular performance of duties.
This position requires successful graduation from the United States Army Civilian Police Academy or graduation within one year of hire date, unless incumbent has an approved waiver/exemption from the Office of the Provost Marshal General.
Incumbent must be able to successfully pass training, certification and qualification requirements related to law enforcement work functions as prescribed by policy, regulations or statutes.
Incumbent is subject to possible civil action due to improper exercises of authority or injudicious use of force in the apprehension or detention of individuals.
Qualifications

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 grade level in the federal service which includes: 1) Conducting law enforcement patrols to identify violations of federal, state, or military regulations; 2) Preparing incident reports to document criminal activities or complaints accurately; 3) Responding to emergency calls to provide immediate support order-escalation; AND 4) Guiding junior officers in patrol procedures to ensure compliance with regulations.
Education
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone -- no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
