Ada County Paramedics Department is seeking an EMS leader to serve as Deputy Chief of Administration. In addition to specific Essential Functions listed below, the Deputy Chief of Administration is responsible for Active Shooter/Hostile Event Response ( ASHER ) and Mass Casualty Incident ( MCI ) programs, PulsePoint Administration, Community Paramedics, coordination with County dispatch and its work group, emergency preparedness, logistics, fleet maintenance, a future quality improvement program, and will be easily able to understand and use technology including Ada Countys data integration tool, Peregrine. The Deputy Chief of Administration will supervise the Emergency Preparedness Officer, Logistics Officers, Vehicle Maintenance Officers and the Community Paramedics. The successful candidate must be comfortable cooperating and coordinating with multiple outside agencies and organizations and must be comfortable with public speaking and presentation.
