Deputy Sheriff Jobs in Idaho

A Deputy Sheriff, integral to the Law Enforcement industry, is responsible for enforcing local, state, and federal laws within a county. They safeguard lives and property, prevent and investigate crimes, maintain peace and order, and enforce traffic regulations. They perform patrol duties, respond to emergency calls, arrest suspects, testify in court, and serve legal documents. Deputy Sheriffs also assist in jail operations and prisoner transport.
