State Trooper Jobs in Maine

These roles provide the necessary experience in law enforcement, public safety, and dealing with potentially dangerous situations. Important skills for a State Trooper include physical stamina, interpersonal skills, perceptiveness, and leadership skills. State Troopers must be U.S. citizens, hold a valid driver's license, and be at least 21 years old. They also need to complete a state-approved police academy training program and pass physical fitness, background, and written tests. Additionally, certification in first aid and CPR is beneficial.
